On 7 October 2025, Juventus announced that its chief executive officer, Maurizio Scanavino, would step down from his position on 7 November 2025, concluding a three-year tenure that began in late 2022 following the resignation of the club’s previous board of directors. The club indicated that it expected to appoint Damien Comolli, then serving as general manager, as Scanavino’s successor.
Comolli had joined Juventus in June 2025 after holding executive positions at several European clubs, including Liverpool and Toulouse. On 30 October 2025, the club confirmed that Luciano Spalletti had been appointed as their new head coach until the end of the 2025–26 season, replacing Igor Tudor.
