Lancaster City Football Club is an English semi-professional non-League football club based in the northern city of Lancaster, Lancashire. City got the 2021–22 season underway by winning their first silverware in four years lifting the 2019-20 Lancashire FA Challenge Trophy for the first time since 1975, beating Prestwich Heys 6–1 at the County Ground, Leyland, in a rearranged final that was played over a year late due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
