This version of the jersey features Germany's 2006 World Cup bid logo on the front. The nation were ultimately successful in being chosen to host the World Cup in this year.

Condition of this original football jersey is 8/10 - Excellent. Small faint dot mark on the lower front (see photos).


Reunified Germany won their first major international title at Euro 1996, becoming the European champions for the third time. They defeated hosts England on penalty kicks (6–5 after a 1–1 draw) in the semi-finals and the Czech Republic 2–1 in the final, a match decided by a golden goal scored by Oliver Bierhoff. Matthias Sammer won the Ballon d'Or in 1996 for his performances for Germany and Borussia Dortmund.
