Official Umbro Manchester United away, short sleeved football shirt from the match against Barcelona, played at Nou Camp on Wednesday, 2nd November, 1994. The jersey was issued to Nicky But, who started the game alongside Paul Ince in midfield. The jersey is unworn as Nicky Butt opted to use the long sleeved version, also issued to him for the game. The shirt features the original flock #5 on the rear and official embroidered UEFA Champions League 94/95 patch, sewn to the sleeve of the jersey.
This is Umbro's superior 'player issue' version of the jersey, featuring an embroidered club crest & manufacturer logo on the upper chest, match issue patch on the sleeve and a 'red text' wash / care label inside the collar (regular jerseys feature a 'blue text' label).
This jersey was purchased by ourselves from a former Manchester United employee. Himself, a football shirt collector at the time, was friends with the club's former Kitman, Norman Davies who helped acquire shirts after games.
Accompanying the jersey is a match day programme displaying the line-ups for the game, a signed letter of confirmation detailing the shirt's provenance, and a gift box to ensure your piece of football history can be kept safely for many years to come.

Born in Gorton, Manchester, Butt began his career at Manchester United as an important part of their youth team before turning professional in 1993.
He made his first-team debut in the 1992–93 season as a substitute against Oldham Athletic in a 3–0 Premier League win on 21 November 1992, but did not get his big break in the team until the 1994–95 season, often covering for Roy Keane in the event of injuries and suspension.
One of his first appearances for the first team came in the FA Cup semi-final on 10 April 1994, also against Oldham as a substitute, this time in a 1–1 draw at Wembley Stadium. United won the replay 4–1 at Maine Road but he was not included in the squad. 1994–95 saw Butt play 35 games in all competitions, scoring one goal and featuring in the starting eleven for the FA Cup final, which United lost to Everton.
