In the 1997–98 season, Dimitris Mavrogenidis, Sinisa Gogic, Ilias Poursanidis and the Ghanaian striker Peter Ofori-Quaye. Olympiacos won the league title celebrated their second consecutive Championship, with three points from Panathinaikos.
