In 2003, the Swiss league was completely reformed, including the names and sizes of the two highest leagues. Hans-Peter Zaugg was named as the new head coach. The played in the first "Super League", taking second place. As a result, the team qualified for the 2004–05 Champions League, where they fell to Red Star Belgrade 5–2 on aggregate.
