On 15 July 2022, Manchester United announced they had reached an agreement to sign Eriksen on a three-year deal. On 28 July 2022, it was confirmed that he would wear the number 14 shirt. On 7 August, Eriksen made his club debut in 2–1 home loss against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League. He made his first assist for the club in a 3–1 home league victory over rivals Arsenal when he assisted Marcus Rashford's second goal.
