Official Adidas Argentina home football shirt from the 1994/95 international season.

This rare jersey was officially manufactured by Adidas and presented to the Argentinian FA (AFA) as a possible option for the national team's jersey. Whilst the AFA rejected it, going instead for a similar version that did not include the black trim and lines between the blue and white, Adidas manufactured it anyway. Most of the sales were made to North America and Europe.

Argentina has been very successful in the Copa América, winning it fourteen times and also winning the 'extra' South American Championships in 1941, 1945 and 1946. The team also won the FIFA Confederations Cup and the Kirin Cup, both in 1992, and an Argentina team (with only three players of over 23 years of age included in the squad) won the Olympics football tournaments in Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008.
